SAMDA is an association not for gain and is registered as such in terms of Section
21 of the Companies Act 61 of 1973.
|
|
The constitution has been written to reflect SAMDA's commitment to sound corporate
governance.
|
It provides for:
- a Board of Directors;
- an Executive Committee, appointed by the Board;
- 3 various specialist standing and ad hoc committees, appointed either by the Board
or the Executive Committee;
- Annual General Meetings, at which a Chairman will be elected;
- and an Annual Report to members.
